Hey. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the AFX calcs and the Graph 100? Which one is best?

By the way, what is the major difference between the AFX 1.0 and 2.0?

The Graph100 is the same as the FX 2.0, but it has a different color and look, it's shipped in France with that name.
Software wise, all the FX 1.0, 2.0, G100 have exactly the same software on it, but CASIO hides the CAS, ALG and Tutorial I think from the FX 1.0, which you can enable them simply if you have the cable.
I guess (not sure) they also hide the Tutorial function (which is absolutely 100% useless) from the G100, but it could also be enabled.

I have some pictures that were posted a while ago:

So these three calcs are in facts exactly the same, but with different limitations (put by casio) which can be removed?

Yes that's it you should buy an AFX 1.0 it's cheaper, there is a subject about that on this forum.

AFX 1.0 has been created because the normal AFX 2 was forbidden in exams because of the CAS and ALGEBRA but CASIO just disabled these apps in the AFX 1.0 they can be re-enabled by third-party programs but YOU MUST HAVE THE calc/PC cable.

What about the CFX-9850GB Plus. Is it forbidden to use that calc on exams too ?

It shouldn't since this calc doesn't have the CAS / ALGEBRA.

The AFX 1.0 doesn't have it either but you can hack the calc to add it.
