Uhm, sound strange  . Had you installed the CP Manager before connecting your ClassPad? I don't know it may help but give it a try: Initialize your ClassPad, install the CPM then connect your CP again.

Hi,

I've never seen an error message like that. You should probably contact your distributor or Casio for help.

Can you explain more?!
What kind of CP and CP OS do you use?
Was it the First time connecting your CP to PC?

There was someone with the same problem on the dcf forum.

I'm not sure but maybe upgrading your classpad to v3.0 is dangerous.
(for example when updating the firmware)

What is dcf forum? I haven't heard of the v3.0 upgrade being dangerous.

I haven't seen a reply from Fipko but I hope he got his ClassPad fixed or the problem went away.

Thank you for the link. You are a very busy person!

If my google translation is accurate, grogerg has sent the classpad to casio for repair. Hopefully a speedy recovery for a sick calculator. :)

Just found this after a search on the Internet. I updated a student's ClassPad and had this error. With the calculator still connected to my computer, and the updater still running, I reset the ClassPad, and just left it connected to the computer. The updater tried to connect, and after a few goes eventually updated the ClassPad and reinstall everything. Within five minutes the ClassPad was back to normal.
