Well I am pretty glad I ended up here from my searching through all the noise on the internet.
I've just started this calculator pc-link jazz and I have a few questions or rather maybe one big
general question. Here it goes.
I have a Casio CFX-9850GB Plus. Oh and a pack of Camels.
I've searched the internet and have found a whole bunch of sites with information on how to
make a PC-Link for my calculator. Probably the most promising one is
http://www.tsys.freeserve.co.uk/casio/
Is this a good site?
I think my question would be what circuit interface is best for the PC-Link and also what
program to be used with...
Any information on where to begin would be really helpful. From your topics this probably might
seem kind of mundane but I figured someone might help out.
Thanks

i tried that diagram, didn't work for me.

looks like a good site though.

Use one of the ones on http://www.casiocorner.rpd.nl/. I use the second PC link shematic, but i have a friend who uses the first one and they both work great.

B) I can?t find the pieces to build one, in the store they don?t have the pieces, and to help the prices are too high, so i buy the original CASIO cable?..

But anyway it?s impossible to have one FX/AFX/G100 whiteout the PC cable?..

I built one a year ago, I can't remember where I got the plans from but it uses a MAX232 so use that design if you find it (I can have a dig thru my schematics for it if anyone really wants). I've used it a lot on FX 1.0 and fx-7700gb, works fine every time. :D
