i've just bought fx-3650p. it has a really bad viewing angle and contrast ratio! all the pixels will appear black if i sit a bit farther from the desk(or if the viewing angle is greater than 45 degree i think?) i have the old fx-50f and fx-3800p and they don't have this problem. no matter at which angle the lcd display are just clear and acceptable. is this the problem of the calculator or all the fx-3650p calculators are like this? it's really annoying!

hi,
i have fx-3650p, it seems fine to me.
only if the light source is in front of my eyes, it seems that the visualization is not good if the angle is less than say 30 deg.

arrrhhgg... thanks for reply but i think the viewing angle if fx-3650p is really bad. when out of the range of the viewing angle the display would become '888888888888888' . then i have to either sit really straight or stack the calculator on my book. i don't know what kind of poor lcd techology is that! the screen of my old fx-50f and 3800p never has this problem. now this newly bought 3650p is 'lock' in my drawer and i don't use it as it brings me so much inconvenience. maybe i'll use it in the future if i have to enter programs on it. but my old 3800p already has 135 steps --- 3650p has 360bytes --- not so much more.
