my cfx9850gb+we seems to have less than my old cfx9850gb+.
why does it only have 28kb when my old one had 30kb???
what's the difference?

the manual says that 28KB can be used, but I don't know what the maual of the old casio cfx9850gb+ says.i have notice something:

oh, well. that 2KB's don't make a huge difference for me.

These 2kb less probably means the restructered parts of the OS, allocating more for programs, and less for user data (maybe they fixed some bugs, and needed a few more k to run certain apps..)

I called Casio's australian distributor (the one that distributes to shops, not to the general public) and was told to try 4 stores. I rang 3, with no luck. the fourth i rang didn't have it, but told me the phone number of another store that specialised in calculators. they had it - for $399.95. TOO MUCH.
If i was spending that much, I could get a half-decent second hand Pocket PC which would do everything i needed.
I also noted that EVERY store i rang reccommended that I buy a TI instead. (with the exception of Casio's distributor). One store I asked about their range of TIs and found they stocked about 10 TIs. EVeryone knows casio is the best calculator in the world, being the original inventor of the calculator and all, so why are they so hard to get?????
