This is so stupid!
My school made us (well didn't make us but really reccomended and lathered us with crap like it will enhance your learning etc etc etc) buy the classpad in form 3. now in form 5 they will not allow the classpad into the senior exams and offer a trade in (trade in classpad for a $20 discount on a casio fx9750g plus) or keep the classpad and buy a fx9750g plus for $60 from the school.
THAT IS CRAZY!

Hello my friend,
Well, I know that the Casio Classpad, while not having top notch graphics, IS quite powerful.
In my opinion, more powerful that the TI-Nspire CAS but not the TI-89 Titanium.
It looks like your school finally woke up to that fact!
Sorry brother,

Hi Kevinator...You're not alone. Both classpad and ti 89 are not allowed to be used by high school students in my country. The only casio and Ti calculators permitted are cfx 9850 GB PLUS and ti 84.But still they are allowed only when you are doing harder maths(mathematical Methods or Specialists Maths...these are much harder maths, done by those who are interested in chemisty, physics, maths ,medicines, engineering as their careers in university.).Calsspad is recently allowed for students who are doing CAS course though. So I feel your pain but I want to let you know that you are not alone bro.

That certainly would be frustrating.
It's a catch-22 - powerful calculators are great for saving time and even verifying some things that older calculators couldn't... but if it does the work for you (at least in some classes) then tests wouldn't reflect your knowledge.
Hang on to the calculator. Like McCoy said, you'll use it in higher-end classes (assuming that's the direction your studies take you)
