I discovered the Classpad only some days ago.
I downloaded the Classpad Manager, I saw the tutorial and I was impressed by the calculator.
So I want to ask a few things before I buy it.
1) The Classpad Manager is included free with the calculator or must be purchased separately? I ask this because the TI-Nspire software for PC is sold separately from the calculator.
2) The Classpad has an integrated help? I did not find any tips when insert a function (which parameters must be included? In what order?)
Is possible to load in the calc the pdf manual (eventually converted in an other format that the Classpad can read)?
3) I have noticed that the post “Where Can I Buy” it is not updated for a long time. Can anyone signalling some online shop where is possible to find the Classpad to a convenient price, in USA or in Europe?

The Classpad manager does not come with the calculator. It must be purchased separately.

There is no on-board help on the Classpad. The manual has this information, however.

The Classpad is available on Amazon.com. You can also get it on eBay. There are several other outlets that offer it as well. Just use Google to find dealers, and take your pick.

I'd like to offer some advice, though... Be sure you are buying the Classpad 300 Plus or better. The Classpad 300 has very poor display contrast. Also, please read this forum very carefully. There is a lot of very good information here that will help you decide if the Classpad is suitable for your intended application. The Classpad is an unusual device, and is not for everyone.

Meantime I have contacted the European Support Center in Germany. This is what they wrote to me about the Classpad Manager and the help:

The program ClassPad Manager is available in different versions. The limited version of the software is in the package of ClassPad 330. The full version Classpad Manager 330 can be purchased as an optional part.
It is not possible to load the manual in the calculator, you have in help assistant on the calculator.

I don't know what's the "limited version" of the software: is the trial version or the basic version?
They wrote something about help assistant on the calculator, but I don't know what it is...

And about store.
I've seen many store in the USA that sell this calc, but I've not found a bundle for CP330 and CP Manager Pro (and not so many "special offers").
I try again to find the best...

It seems to give a description of the ClassPad and what useful calculations it can do during an exam.

Also, the limited version is a trial version of the CP Manager, but you don't really need the full version. It will still be able to send and receive files from the calculator when the trial expires.

I've downloaded the trial version of Classpad Manager and I think is a great way to explore how the calc it works. Also I find very useful the resizeble windows: if you must do a presentation the CP Manager Pro can be a good choice (I'm thinking about my work: I'm a teacher).

So far I don't not work with calc in my class.
I was asked some time ago to take part to a project with student and new method to approaching math with calc, particularly with TI-Nspire, but then I could not join to the plan.
For my personal use I am trying to deepen the understanding of these calculators. I already have a TI-Nspire CAS and I wanted to understand how this CP works.

If a friend of mine could help me, I think I get the CP in the USA, because here in my country (Italy) the CP is not known (why not italian language in the OS?) and with very high price!
Also I can't understand why there are not many bundles (CP + CP Manager) in online store. The CP Manager Pro has a very high price in my opinion and I think that for all CP users it could be cheaper for upgrade from basic version.
