in my opinion all flood control on the board should be disabled, but obviously thats not a good idea because certain people on this board will go write a bot to increase there post count. I won't name names, though.

Anyway, i can see absolutely no reason why search flood control should be enabled. sometimes i have other business to attend to. could someone please disable it?

I'm not quite shure what you mean by "search flood control" and just now I do not find an option in the admin cp that corresponds to it in any way :blink:

What is it that you want rj ?
Explain what annoys you in the flood control.

Ok the other day i was searching for a particular thread and having a lot of trouble finding it. To make matters worse, there is this thing called search flood control.

click on search, search for something, go back to the search page and try again. it won't work until 20 seconds have passed since your last successful search.
