when i type in www.casiocalc.org and forget the /casio/forum i get a BORING page with two links and a message about the Cassiopea. isn't it possible to write a script to detect wich browser you are using and automatically send you to the right page?

what's the difference between the two anyway, the ie page works on my laptop wich runs mozilla, and the netscape page works fine on my desktop wich runs IE.

Only the prefix (with or without www) is different.
The IE-link will go to http://www.casiocalc.org/casio/...
The Netscape-link will go to http://casiocalc.org/casio/...
I've heard the frontpage will be filled with a sort of community-site ('with file-sharing and other goodies').
I think that this plans are not sure, so please don't stick me at it.

Well, there were _some_ complaints that with _some_ browsers it wouldn't work the one or the other way.

Frontpage is planned, programmed and delayed by mr. simprobe...

1. both the links read the same.
2. one takes me to a "page not found" page, the other takes me to the front page.

hey mr. simprobe, i'll do the home page for you if you want.

rj, you need to cool it a little, its not that big a deal, and while I'm sure simon appreciates constructive criticism you are going a little to far. B)

You will do the frontpage? Eh!.. Along with all the other features? Filesharing, chat, article system, links system, admin pages.

GO ahead! Make my day!

Must be PHP based, or ASP with a Mysql or postgresql backend.

I have 95% of all the asp already completed :).
