Hi there, I have a problem with the classpad manager. I am trying to simplify (√(3)-1)(√(2)+1), but when I do so I keep getting the same this as the answer. I use "simplify((√(3)-1)Ã(√(2)+1))". Can some one show me how to get claspad to do something like this? thanks in adnave.

try this:
simplify(expand((√(3)-1)Ã(√(2)+1))
