Ok, this is probably an easy question for most of you guys. Is there any decent computer software that will convert picture files (*.bmp, *.jpg, ect.) to the five grey-scale that is possible on the AFX? And I know there are several programs to view pics on the AFX, but it seems like most of them only read in black and white, can any read a file with gray-scale?
I know there is a program also to convert a BMP to an EXE file for the AFX, but as the entire thing is in french, I have not had any luck in using it yet. Any ideas?

You can view monochrome bmps with bmpview (and linl), sysexplorer, and other explorers
As for grayscale bmps, I don't think anyone has made a viewer yet

I don't think it's open source, at least I haven't been able to find the source code. Good news though, through a LOT of trial and error, I've figured out how to make BMP's into 5 greyscale executable files. I don't have the program right in front of me, but if anyone else is having trouble with that program the same way I was and could use some help, send me a PM and I'll explain the steps I take. (Obviously, anyone that speaks and/or reads French are probably laughing at me at this point 
)

Err... doesn't Google have an Automatic translater???
