As a moderator, you're job will be to ensure the board remains sane and enjoyable.
Your main actions will be to delete spam. The forum is now using the shared database of http://www.stopforumspam.com/ to detect spammers upon registration but unfortunately, some spammers still manage to get through this.
Moderators also have to make sure the forum organization is respected by users (Are posts made in the right category? Is this post off-topic?)
Besides spammers, your worst enemies will be internet trolls, you'll have to prevent them from distilling anger in touchy topics.
The second part of your job is to welcome new members and help them if you can.
If you want to be part of the moderating team, submit your application by replying in this topic.
Long time and/or active members will have a greater chance.
Thank you

I log-in everyday and I usually encounter new spam.
Also usually visit the forum when Americans are asleep (I live in GMT+03:30) and can complement other moderators' times.
