here is a complete guide how to upgrade the memory for the cfx 9850... i think they are quite the same (9850 and 9750).

I am sorry, that it's completly in german, maybe you can find a good online translator and get the main parts. :-)

only a few problems..
some pictures are non available ...
what happens with the cables??? it can produce a short circuited
what do the chip 74HC32 ??
only 32Kb more????
can I put a big capacity memory chip????
how it is difficult i prefer put more memory ...

@ casiomad, it is a calculator, not a computer, i can understand getting an extra 32 kb, but you dont really need that much more, how many programs are that big, if you need alot of memory get an AFX but if you can get like 712 kb let me know

The 74HC32 its and logic OR function. If i remember well, that CMOS chip have four OR gates of 2 bits.

When i read de information about the memory extension i simple ask me, but why not more memory, why i can?t put other memory chip with more capacity for staff??
i thinking that i can put my old pentium 233MMX in my calculator, what do you think?? (it?s a fake, of course )
2 Mb for my calculator it a good capacity
sorry, but what is a AFX, an pocket?

i was thinking about the same thing with a 333 , i had it all figured out how to hook it on to the exterier so that it was removable, but i never did do it, mainly because i didnt know how
and 2 mb would be cool, although you would never need that much
