In solving equations where the result is a complex number, I am getting this:

 

0.5 + 1.41421356237i

 

I would like something like this:

1

-  + sqrt(2) i

2

 

Is there a way to tell a program "Output results in fraction mode?"

You can set up again.

In the Equation Menu, you press SHIFT -> MENU (SETUP) -> Display -> Norm1 (or Norm 2) ?
