Hacking FX-82ES PLUS A

fx-82es plus hacking

It depends on what you meant by "hacking".
+ If you means "getting more features" like Base-N or Matrix/Vector, if there is the "PLUS" in the name then it is impossible to do that. Only ES (not PLUS) series and older MS (i.e., not MS-PLUS with curly 3) series can be upgraded.
+ Else there are some interesting functions (see our thread about hacking ES PLUS series.

Information: "fx-82ES PLUS A" is a Chinese-only model with Chinese error message. Go to the full post

Hello, I recently bought fx-82es plus a (it's written above the LCD) model. Hacks using technique like coloring board pins seems to work with fx 82es plus. I'm curious if I can successfully hack this calculator even though I don't have "circled A" in the back panel. Is it okay to hack with coloring board pins? If not, what hacking method should I use?

Thanks.

Absolutely not possible.
You can see that by simply press MENU key (it may be labeled differently) and see that there is no "Matrix" menu.
