Mine Casio fx-880P cannot show DEFM sign on LCD after enter DEFM . Another calculator fx-850P show DEFM sign on LCD.
Is this problem only in my fx-880P, or same problem in all fx-880P?

Hi,
I have FX-860Pvc of the Japanese version of FX-880P.
I do not know if this is the same as your case.
Is FX-880P already in DEFM mode?
Try canceling the DEFM mode.(using DIM command )
Then, when you execute DEFM command, the DEFM symbol should appear.
If that is not the case, there is no choice but to reset.
If it still fails, I think it is broken somewhere.
