My Casio fx-CP400 is having issues with calculating the definite integral of sqrt(4x2 - 8x - 397 / 4x2 - 8x + 3) from x=0.5 to x=1.5.

After executing, the calculator spits the integral back to me without calculating it. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you.

Well, I see 1 problem

the expression 4x2 - 8x + 3 is not defined at points 0.5 and 1.5 (these points are roots and division by zero is not defined)

By knowing these notes you can compute this definite integral:

slightly change the lower and upper limit (e.g. 0.50001 and 1.49999),

int(f(x), 0.501,1.499))=30.170

int(f(x), 0.50001,1.49999))=31.30906
