Hello everyone!

I am facing a strange problem with my scientific calculator FX-991CW.

I am trying to solve the following: -

((1760*1000*10002)/69000)/1×104. I tried this in both Math IO mode and Line IO.

I got the answer as 2.550724638×104 in both cases! The answer is supposed to be 255.724638.

This works perfectly in FX-991MS, ES etc but not working in CW.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Vikas J Sheth.

Unfortunately, this is known behavior of this calc. It is really bad and annoying.

This calc interpretes "somethnig/1×10^4" as "(something/1)×(10^4)", so in your example it is (((1760*1000*10002)/69000)/1)×(104) = 255.xxxx × 10^4, which is obviously bad
