hey, i know people arnt too keen on a seperate foprum for each calc, but while i was browsing another form (a clone CD one) i saw somthing, in one forum they had sub-forums, so in the main forum we could have an AFX forum and a CFX forum, what about it ?

there is no difference to having them in the main window.
The reason why we don't want forums for each calc
is that CFX and AFX are VERY similar (except c/asm) and other
models aren't very popular.
We already have an extra forum for Classpads (because the differ a lot from AFX/CFX).
Where to post concerning basic? afx or cfx? it matters for both.
We would have a lot for both and few for a specific model.
Also we would have some threats nearly not used.

i don't want separate forums, as i'll be only posting to members such as Genesis, who only have a CFX. The AFX sub forum will be huge whereas the CFX one will be crap.

cool, just an idea, what about an ASM/C and a Basic topic pinned to the top of the main forum? then users with a specific Basic question could ask it there.

@huhn: good explenation.
we dont want to take away from the activity of the main forum, the classpad forum was an exception because of the reasons huhn stated and because we wanted casio to be able to find ClassPad topics quickly and easily.

No good idea:just an idea, what about an ASM/C and a Basic topic pinned to the top of the main forum? then users with a specific Basic question could ask it there.
Have you seen the link topic? It is HUGE! I think only few people read all the stuff.
The same would happen with a basic / asm/c topic. It would get bigger and bigger, and bigger ... No one would read it!
And there are too many questions to ask them in a single thread. :motz:
