It's an oficial version. He's Casio france to send by the tradition mail the os update and the cellsheet program.

With this package my c300 has OS 1.2 and cellsheet. On the package there are :

Downloaded it from the official french Classpad300 site and there were no problems installing it(OS-update v.1.2 and Spreadsheet) on the Classpad.
Well I don`t know what`s new in OSv.1.2(I also don`t know if I realy need to know!?). I hope they fixed the unexplainable crashes of (my) Classpad.
For Spreadsheet, I do not see the use of that program. It`s like a very light Exel Version and there are no possibilities ("H-copy"?!) for getting the Data out of the Classpad. Which reminds me, why is the add-software only working on the Classpad not in the Manager? Maybe it`s included in the full version(will it ever be available?!).
I looked up the date of purchasing my Classpad, it was 05.05.03. Why these great differences between the countries, I think it was end october when Casio WEW finaly switchd from "Classpad 300 ... coming out soon" to "... has come out". I also registered my Classpad and signed the newsletter, never heard anything. So at this point I want to thank everybody in this forum, especially CrimsonCasio and the people from casiocalto.free.fr.

I downloaded and installed the spreadsheet and update.

The installation was quick and easy. I did glance through the new manual, and the only changes I see so far have to do with the spreadsheet and associated preferences.

And my ClassPad beeped right as the install was completed. It -does- have sound!

 thanks.

about the full version of the manager: I dont know when its comming out, casio hasnt been able to get a definite date on the release. I suspect they will try to get it out about the time everyone starts to run out of time on the limited version. however, they are sending me the full version (many thanks to them) in a few days so I'll report on the diffrences between it and the limited version. one I can already tell you is that the "Wait" command has been fixed so most programs will work with it.

Finally, The women who had contact me and the Webmaster of Casiocalto.free.fr made a mistake, and so we are finally no more allowded to put online the spreadsheat ...
For prench, you can have it just by sending a mail to them, So maybe it is the same for those who live in other countries, isn't it ?

In M?xico the CP 300 release date was in octuber (supposedly) but I bought my CP in the USA (thanks to my uncle). One question, the full version of the manager will be available for free download?

Can`t imagine that! The Classpad Manager is a nice CAS itself(as an emulator with better navigation than Ti-92-emulators). If the Full-Verson of the Manager will ever be available, non "real Classpad"-users will have to pay for it(maybe CP-users too).

Fullversion of CP-Manager available. So far I found it at www.dynatech.de(129,95Euro) and www.cotec.de(99Euro 30.11.03). Not a "nice price"!

Hmm.. been away for a while ;)

Seems I lost the "pre-released" os update :banghead:

Oh well, perhaps I should come in more often B)

About the full version of CP Manager.. hope all of us that has bought the actual classpad get it for free, if not I'll be pissed!

-- EDIT --
Or maybe not :P
The link was gone, but the file wasn't taken off the server :D
(now that I've mentioned it, maybe it will be.. sorry for all you guys coming after me
Took me about 2 mins to download .. gotta love broadband :)

-- EDIT2 --
WTF??
It's just a bogus app.. it doesn't do anything :(
It skips all the steps it's suppose to do, and only displays the "Finish" button (the "Back" button is disabled)
Is this an error, or a bogus app.. ?
