OK, too many members isn't a problem here but is it possible to make members post at least once to register and those with no posts be deleted? That would filter out genuine members.

Also, the same person shouldn't be able to post twice in a row or double posts should be merged into one. All this would clear up the forum a lot. As well as that, maybe you could make some of the member profile entries required fields as spammer never fill these in.

actually they did fill in one of the extra fields (calculators). I've been going over this for some time, I think we had agreed to make any member with less than 5 posts a validating member, we could put harsh flood control on such members (5 min between each post and such)

good ideas, but some are quite complicated, we do need anti-spammer measures tho.

====EDIT====

tho you would have to makesure that the edit button stil has its 15 second limt, cos i use that whan i make a typo, or need to say somthing else.

I'm so sorry, but i had no control over this. :( :( :(

Yeah, this guy thought it was a joke as he doesn't respect the UCF like us. I'm happy that you banned my brother and class mate.

BTW: They were using the school computers, so don't ban the IP, Crimson.

Also, my brother already knew about the UCF, but i never thought he'll post such stupid comments.

also, the member formaggiop's email is real, so fell free to spam it. hehe

BTW: The as they can use diff computers, i can't guarantee that they will not do this again. sorry. Just don't ban all Australian ips.

Please accept my apoligy, everyone. :(

The thing is that i can only stop my brother from doing it again, as i have control over this computer (has internet), whereas his doesn't. And he never uses the ones at school, only on that occasion.

However my class mate is unstoppable. :(

Just ban his home computer.
