Well, this game is so different from ordinary basic game that it is one of the quality gasic products (Game-in-Basic).
Ofcourse this was 100.1% intentional  :roflol:
So from now on if I will see a *G*ood *G*ame in b*ASIC* it will be another GASIC game.

BTW. this was offtopic and I bet that Moha
will come today evening, wipe out my Mod
status and add some red-coloured
text here ===v :lol2:

Hello,
I have the same problem as huhn_m. I have AFX+ too. The main.exe file launches correctly, but when it comes to execute flight.exe - it returns "abnormal program termination" error. This one ussually appears when there's not enough memory.
I had the same problem with executing Scorch by Duobab. I couldn't find any solution to this problem. I even tried to edit game code from C to C++ (I hope that Duobab will forgive me editing it, but it seemed that I could have not the best multiplayer game, in my opinion), it worked, bt with many bugs.
Then someone (I don't remember) adviced me to use special command.com by Shineos. And then everything was ql.

Maybe there is a way to fix the problem. Please, Roe!

you have to use roes maxmem since shine os doesn't lunch this game at all.

Download the AFXPC package (i think crimson has it on his homepage)
and execute the MAXMEM.EXE

when you are asked for the values leave the first as it is (simply press EXE) and
enter 90000 for the second. Now the game should work.

Be aware that you put your basic files at risc so make a backup in flash memory before.
After you changed the memory with maxmem do NOT execute programs like CAS or ALGEBRA since
they will get a memory error and halt the calc. reboot before you use them with the P button on the back.

It would be good if those games were on the File Sharing.

maybe i haven't read some documents good enough, but i had no idea about this maxmem-thing with scorch. i just wondered why it didn't work. it should be added somewhere so that even an idiot like me can see it.

(i'll have to try that tip, if i can just find that maxmem somewhere..)

EDIT: didn't find it. any help? :(
EDITEDIT: i don't think this deserves an own topic so i'll just add it here. the various documents (from Mohameds site) really need to properly translated. the machine translations are just horrible.. surely someone knows proper french and english?

Well Roe the Gang Fight2 was originally released WHITEOUT ANY BUG like Crimson has said ?it was his fault?. B)

About the ?password protection?, once that the game was free of bugs, and that you can?t read it decently in the AFX2 screen ( and in the FA-123 too ), I decide to use ?password protection? because some of the first users of the GF2 have said to me that they accidentally delete some command lines of the game.

Why did I do that, because like you know Roe it?s very boring when you see a program or a game where you put a lot of effort to do it, changed by others, WHITEOUT ANY AUTHORIZATION, and to make it better WHITEOUT ANY MENTION OF WHO ORIGINALY DO THAT PROGRAM/GAME.

It was not the first time that this happens to me, the Periodic Table 2 and 3 was changed by others, some of then just remove my name and put their names.

I have made the GF2 version 2.8 ( the GF2 that you and all others have is the 2.7 ), I have corrected the ?Crimson bug?s?, and re-writhed some part of the code, now the game is a little bit more fast ( principally to load the game menus ).

Of course me you and others know that it?s easy to remove the ?password protection?, they only function it?s to prevent accidental damages on the code, nothing more and nothing less, and that is EXTREMILY EASY for who wants to remove my name and put his name in the game there is nothing to prevent that.

Anyway the game is great, the graphics are amazing, the game speed is incredible, and probably this is the best BASIC game ever made for the CASIO calculators.

For high experience guys ( concerning about programming ) things like that are stupid , but what you want no one is perfect??

Anyway in a few days I will release the GF2 ver. 2.8 and Rad Race ver. 1.4, this is a new racing car game.

It's ok Brazzucko, the story was explained earlier.
Probably drawing your name with those Line functions hashed between other Line functions would prevent the lazyier people from changing it.
You could also store your name in a List and check in some places if it is correct (checksum).
Well there are some ways...

I ofcourse agree that "stealing" or altering programs is really annoying, so
if you saw that someone changed your programs author info then let us know he should be flamed here at the forum.
Roeoender.

EDIT: didn't find it. any help? :(

i don't know if You already found it, but You can make it work when You run it from Shine OS. Get it here:
http://shine.sourceforge.net/
It doesn't cause any problems, and it makes Scorch run, at least it did on my calc.
