When the development with the game began is also no problem, cause I?m a real newbie.
Getting my AFX not long ago middle of August this year (I began writing first Add Ins with NAsm and wrote a graphics engine + some other moduls then, ported to Pascal 2 weeks ago), I started with the game only 4 days ago

@Bob Vila: Sure; it?s much easier, but as efficient as C. The way you create Add Ins in Pascal is the same as in C: just ensure that Program+Data+Stack+Heap will not go over 64K at all. Use 286, disable FPU (you may enable emulation, however; already tested), and as the AFX is not as fast as other computers, disable all kind of unnecessarry code generation (like range check, IO check and so on). I use good old TP 6.0, it works fine!

btw. someone should make some kind of banchmark on
how fast what language is.

and Borland's Pascal compiler was rather a slow one. FreePascal was faster, but I don't know if it works for AFX as I don't want to use pascal anymore.
You can write effective or crappy/slow code in both languages. Using C doesn't make your programs automatically faster (well, assembly is the answer

I prefer C as there are more compilers I can choose from and it gives me more freedom (btw I love pointers which are natural in C and a bit unnatural in Pascal).

Is this enough for the contest or MUST it be the final release that will be published later?

During my recent formatting of my hard drive, i accidently swapped my game for the comp. with another game, after i had copied the backup files for my calculator folder. Resulting in the deletion of my game, permanently.
So, i would like to withdraw from the comp, as i will not have time to create a new game anyways. And no- i'm not TO sad about it, because the game sucked anyway

i was becoming worried that I wouldnt have enough time to finish my game, but I did it... would have taken a lot less time in the past but im so out of practice with the CFX...
anyway, which judge is doing CFX games?

No more judges are accepted.
Too many judges will make the progress of judging slower too so
I think we are fine with the ones we do have.

I could always make a really small game, but it would be really rubbish. so i think it's best that i withdraw from the competition now.

programs to. Please do not send them directly to the judges but to this account! They'll be forwarded then!
Please include the categorie, your name, the name of the program,
a compiled executable and the sources (for ASM/C), an explanation for
functions / keys. Things that need to be considdered for the program to
work (e.g. create matices / basic fiels etc ...)
You have to hand in the sources since they are important for the evaluation. However you can ask us (the judges) to delete them after the
comp. Please just drop a note in the mail.
Here is the mail addresse:
contest (a) casiocalc.org
replace the (a) by the @ sign (changed to prevent the mailbox from beeing flooded with spam)

Remember, BASIC games shall work on both AFX & CFX unless you mention you made a restriction.
If you need to make a different file for AFX for example, then do it please.
