How come when you open up the smilie pop-up window, there are more than one of some of the smilies (called different names)? For example...there are chuckles and plol, then there are lmao and roflol and evil and twisted, then one for cry and one for the symbols of cry? Just wondering what your reason is.

As they have differernt names, they also have different looks.
Smilies are added based on personal taste.

I could need to use a lol smilie, but for example the :lol2: smilie would suite the subject better than :roflol:

BTW: ROFLOL = Rolled On the Floor Laughing Out Loud. :roflol:

I don't think you understand. The pairs I listed above are the same smilie. (With the exception of evil and twisted, I just realized they are different, sorry).

well, ... motz doesn't seem to create a smiley ...

motzen means in german to complain about sth. in a very unpolite way.

Ok, we're kinda getting off topic as nobody has answered my question as to why there are two different words for several of the smilies and that they appear as seperate smilies in the pop-up window.

I am busy, and I promise I will scan all the smilies and remove all the duplicates. Don't worry.

If they existed, they're a mistake.

the actuall reason is that moah and I were adding them at the same time, thus duplicates... I noticed a while back but hadent bothered to remove them ;)
