thats cool, I made this just to interface with the UCN, and also to provide some translation capabilities. the moniter page option refreshes the page constantly so that if someone is posting a reply to you you will know almost instantly, you will also get PMs as they are sent.

----EDIT----
Small update, browser now translates French to English (it didn't work) and has a link to Graph100.com

Kinda fun!

You want a bug?
Here it is:
I press "Graph100 Forum" and then want to translate it:
message "Error: The url "http:/" could not be accessed"
Cause: the URL control wasn't updated to new URL
and probably isn't when I follow a link.
Anyway nice - I will use it at school (to show off  )

the bar at the top isn't an address bar, its for entering a url for a page to translate. i may make it an address bar later, but not in this version.

---EDIT---
ok, made the translation bar function as a address bar as well. a funny thing about the translation, it seriously screws up the UCN site but works fine for just about every other page.

wow, I didn't realize it was so big... I just looked and the reason its so big is because it has a bunch of windows files that install to make sure you have all of them (dll, and other stuff), you probably have most of them already, it will just update them.

the exe is only 56kb

the UCN Browser is just for navagating the UCF. it has a toolbar with links to all the diffrent parts of the ucf plus a feature that lets you constantly refresh a page so that you can see exactly what people are doing as they do it, it also turns the PM system into virtual instant messaging. another cool feature is that it can translate web pages into French, Spanish, and English, making those international sites legible to everyone (the translation is bad, but you will be able to get the idea). the only problem is that the translation part doesnt work on the UCF, but it does on Graph100.com.

Avant Browser uses Internet Explorer rendering engines (DLLs) so every site should look the same in both BUT in AB you can disable a lot of feature (such as Flash, Images, Javascript, JAVA...) so check your settings.

there are two diffrent files, one that installs all needed files, the other is just an .exe, if the exe doesn't work then you should run the setup program.

PJ, you should use the setup file, dont worry about it being so big, its just because it has lots of dlls, most of which you probably already have.

exe file:
http://www.crimsonca...UCN Browser.exe

setup application:
http://crimsoncasio..../UCNBrowser.zip

You said it could refresh constantly, how?

look at the top of the browser, there is a check box that says "Monitor Page" if you check it the page you are viewing will be refreshed every 20 seconds or so, its not constant but its close enough.

try using it to view the online users page, it lets you watch what people are doing.

I'm going to add a few extra features and mabey make a admin version that will have some special stuff. :D
