Looking around to see what calculators are available nowadays I found this:

It's a German only model with a few more functions than the FX-991ES Plus. The interesting ones are new distribution functions (specially the inverse normal, finally!), and product calculation, among others - a heck of a lot more conversions.

Anyone knows what's up with this new calc? Will we get it outside of Germany (maybe a new model number)? Any words from our German friends in the forum would be appreciated.

I've taken good care of my old FX-991MS, which has served me well through undergrad, grad school and professional life; and objectively speaking don't need an upgrade. But for those two features... I could be willing to trade up.

Your thoughts?

Looks good, and it's relatively inexpensive, I would go for it. :)
