hmm, samuri I dont that would work... perhaps I should list what I have at the moment (there will be more and if you suggest something I think will work nicely then I'll add it): Soldier (Warior), Mage, Mercenary, Outlaw.

remember, it has to have some part in the plot (see the first post).

read the first page, everyone gets the same magicall ability, but they may not be trained to use it. also the level up system will reflect what types of attacks you use to vanquish your enemys.

I'm trying to work a few spells into the battle system before I release the demo, but as for sending it to you beta testers I cant because I'm at my moms (I'll be back by friday). mabey by then I'll have more done.

(Also I have been working alot with my classpad recently because of all thats going on, but now I'm trying to test that freeze up bug so I should have time for Lydonia)

hey, how would you guys feel about the battle system being able to handle an infinate enemys VS your small pathetic force of 3? I believe I have found a way to quickly insert any number of new enemys after the battle starts, so now I can better simulate actuall war, instead of having a series of battles I can just toss about 100 enemys at you. if I did something like this I could also include leader status on some enemys, so if they die the battle would end (dont you hate having to beat the little grunt after the boss has died?), it would also allow for some more interesting stratagies and mabey another AI mode (Protect mode). on the minus side this game is getting HUGE and for the first time since I owned an AFX I am beginning to fear running out of memory ( I've still got pleanty, but right now there is very little plot...)

I personally like the idea, but if there is an overwhelming cry of "too much!" then I wont include it. also, ther is about a 1% chance that this will be included in the demo, for obvious reasons...

Beta release compleation: 85%
Battle Demo: 45%
Game Demo: 40% (50 once i finish the battle)
First Release: 20% :(

the code for the last version i released is out there somewhere. though any future version of this game i release most likely will not be based off of it and possibly not be on a platform that currently exists :P
