When you first open up a poll you're presented with the voting form and only when you've voted can you see the current status of the poll. This is how it should be as it means that each voter cannot be influenced by how other people have voted before them. However, if you don't log in and view the poll as a guest you go straight to the view of the current results.

Wouldn't it be better to present guests with a message saying "please register / log in to vote or view poll results"?

Sounds like a good suggestion, we'll see if we can do it.

I've actually brought that up before, and since becoming an admin I have pretty much determined that the only way to do this is to stop guests from viewing all topics. mabey 2072 can do more than that, but thats all the admin can do.

Well I could do something about that, shouldn't be so difficult... :)
