I have a question about the functionality of xfer9860 software:

I bought a Casio fx-9750GII calculator . How can i set up a connection
between my PC (running Linux Debian) and my calculator (fx-9750GII)?
How can I modify the source code for adapt my calculator fx-9750GII?

I read a lot of information about USB protocol, libusb, linux kernel drivers
(I read the entire book "Linux Device Drivers 3rd ed" and "fxReverse
project documentation for CASIO fx-9860G 1st rev") and i send many mails to
Manuel Naranjo and Andreas Bertheussen (but they haven't any idea) but i
can't find any solution.
If you can help me i will be very grateful.
Sincerely.

Note: I run FA-124 official software from Casio (on Windows XP) on a different PC, I tried to figure out how can I obtain the protocol between my calculator and this software using SnoopyPro but I don't know where to begin.

Woah! A fellow linux user! Hello brleoal and welcome to UCF! You should introduce yourself. :D

I tried to get it to work once as well and ended up doing the same thing you're doing. Maybe you can get farther than I can, here are the threads I participated in, maybe they will help:

Hope that helps, looking forward to seeing you on IRC and the forums :)
