Hi everyone

 

I want to solve an easy exercise with 2 unknown and 2 equations.

 

x+y=5

x*y=5

 

I try to solve it with the function in the 2D menu (it looks like beneath).

 

{  x+y=5   I

{  x*y=5    I x,y

 

It normally works, but now the calculator (Casio Classpad 300Plus) gives me the solution:

 

{x+y=5,x*y=5}.

 

So it does not solve the equations. 

I own this calculator since more than 6 years and I never had this problem before.

 

Does somebody has some ideas how to solve the problem?

x=1.381966011

y=3.618033989
