I had a program, Insight 1.5, that would allow me to look at the battery percentage so I'd know how much is left until it's time to change the batteries. However, since I updated the OS to 2.04 to gain access to vectors, the battery meter stopped working and now always returns 0. I'm guessing this is because there were some minor system call changes, but I could be very wrong.
Anyway, is it possible to see the battery status with OS version 2.04? If so, are there any add-ins that exist or can be made that will do this?

Also, I have just the USB Power Graphic version of the hardware.

It didn't work, and neither did the one linked in its comments. The programs seemed to have jumped execution to the beginning of all memory.

You can also try looking around planet casio, which is my goto place to find add-ins of various types.

I found out that I can get a hex value of the battery level by turning off the calculator, holding OPTN, EXP, and AC at the same time (making sure it says =DIAGNOSTIC MODE=), then consecutively pressing F1, 9 (Yes) (thought it won't delete data if you know what you're doing), 3 (TEST), and 6 (DETECT). This value is located under MAIN. After some testing of taking a battery out while plugged in, 168h is about when it will say that the battery is low.

Sounds about right, the rating for the calculator is 220 hours I think. If it could be possible, maybe you can find that value in the emulator too, and write up a program to display the value at that register.

Unfortunately, I am not good with most any debugging or high-level programming work, so that is not a valid option for me. I also don't find this to be a major deal and that doing this method is sufficient enough, but if anyone is willing to make one, then that would be awesome.
