For instance, if you have 3 frame sections then if someone visits your page, then the hit counter goes up by 3. So he actually has a 2 to 4 times advantage. i don't care, but then the stats aren't really accurate.

What position am I?well if you have images it increases your hits too: each images= 1 hit.

Note: if one of the parent directory contains a .htaccess with user requirement, all subfolder are affected.
What you can do is create a new user and put a .htaccess requirering this user in the folder you want to make public (crimsoncasio.earthforge.com), then people will have to use an URL like this to access to the directory :
h ttp://username:password AT www.earthforge.com:2082/tmp/earthfor/webalizer/crimsoncasio.earthforge.com/index.html

Sorry, I'm not touchy, it's just that I don't like it when people assume things. Very often at school, when something good happens, the teacher automatically praises their best student and people severly underestimate me. When something bad happens, they blame their worst student, even when it is the good ones that did it.
