hmm. Andy you use frames, so you must get about 3 times the amount of actual hits.
Therefore, technically Crimson is the winner and then me.....
hehe, sorry Andy

well frames increase the number of hits to your site.

For instance, if you have 3 frame sections then if someone visits your page, then the hit counter goes up by 3. So he actually has a 2 to 4 times advantage. i don't care, but then the stats aren't really accurate.

well if you have images it increases your hits too: each images= 1 hit.

for casiocalc.org

for the month of november only:

37122 hits
27888 page views
1855 visits (not the same as the counter at end of pages - less accurate)
805552 Ko (traffic)

CrimsonCasio seems to be the the best visitor of Ucnetwork:

3288 hits (8%) 73695 Ko (9.15%)

Can't you make this stats public somehow?

Would be great!

So you have pop access. Did you get out the port or at least the IMAP port?

btw: you have 1872 hits... but I wasn't aware of the images thing, andy probably wins because of the smilies.

Well I've modified the .htaccess of the directory, if you've got lines like the ones below, just put a '#' in front of each to disbale them:

AuthType Basic
AuthName Statistiques
require user ucfadmin

#AuthType Basic
#AuthName Statistiques
#require user ucfadmin

No I can't :(

Note: if one of the parent directory contains a .htaccess with user requirement, all subfolder are affected.

What you can do is create a new user and put a .htaccess requirering this user in the folder you want to make public (crimsoncasio.earthforge.com), then people will have to use an URL like this to access to the directory :

h ttp://username:password AT www.earthforge.com:2082/tmp/earthfor/webalizer/crimsoncasio.earthforge.com/index.html

EXCUSE ME!!! Taking credit for other people casiokingdom! :profanity:. That IP address is mine, it was even in another post. You're not even with bigpond.net.au!!! Wow, I'm the 9th most regular visitor? I only visit once a week.

Sorry, I'm not touchy, it's just that I don't like it when people assume things. Very often at school, when something good happens, the teacher automatically praises their best student and people severly underestimate me. When something bad happens, they blame their worst student, even when it is the good ones that did it.

i agree with you genesis, and people with modems generaly connect to the net with a variable IP address, so its hard to tell how often you have been to a site.
