FX-9750 GII upgraded to FX-9860 GII

Posted 02 May 2016 - 11:52 PM

I am currently making the calculator version of the game "Color Switch" for the Fx-9860GII/Upgrade Fx-9750GII calculators.

Here is what it looks like on mobile: https://play.google....lorswitch&hl=en

I made it in C with the SDK. The code is on my github: https://github.com/V...io-Color-Switch.

It's pretty basic right now, because it is a work in progress, and I am currently programming in more Obstacle shapes.

This is an old screenshot, in the recent build it has the  score on the top left corner, the obstacle rotates faster and the ball explodes on impact, and when it goes out of the screen.

You can test the game on your calculator by downloading the .G1A file on my GitHub.

I will update this thread with the major updates.

I would also like to make a grayscale library for the SH4 version of the Fx-9860GII, I could use it to emulate colors in this game, and it will be nice for any other games.

EDIT: Updated screenshot

This is great!. Congratulations. Some day maybe I'll upgrade my fx-9750gII but I'm worried about the possibility of brick my calculator.

I've upgraded over 20 of them and none of them have been bricked.

There probably is a small chance of it being bricked, if you mess up the whole thing, but if you follow the instructions it will work without any problems. I've installed the wrong OS twice (SH4 on a SH3 model) and it still didn't brick, the display was upside down, and then I re-installed the correct OS and it worked again.

This Saturday morning, I've upgraded my calculator to fx-9860GII with my 1Ghz Windows 10 11.6'' netbook (very slow), and I was succesful, so I've installed your game, and now I can say that is very cool.

The only thing is that the tact of the exe key can be a bit better.
