NOTE TO ALL IN BASIC CATAGORY:

when you send me your programs please include "Contest" or "Competition" in the subject or it might accidently be sent to the junk mail folder, I have set up a filter which will send anything with either of those words to a folder I have set aside so I wont miss them.

if you dont follow these instructions your game might be deleted before I ever see it.

you know, thats something we need, a site just for programs. most sites focus on games and just have a few programs as an after thought, so a site just for programs would be in a class of its own.

 That?s true; we found very much sites whit games but a small number of then include programs?..

I can say it for my on personal experience, I make the Periodic Table program because I didn?t see any real good PT program, they was too big or they don?t have all the necessary info about each element.

One more thing ( it?s off topic )

I was asked to make a smaller version of the PT 3, I can do it because the program in self it?s already small, but the info about each element it?s what make the PT 3 very much big for the CFX, for the CFX users I suggest to use the PT 2.6, the only difference between those versions it?s that the PT 3 has more info about each element, and a lithe more options. :)

Hey, wait for me!
It's the first time I read all posts in this topic. And I didn't know that I have to participate if I want to take a part ;)

So... I want to participate in Asm/C category.

Unfortunatelly, I also didn't know that I shouldn't tell anybody about my project, but I did it few days ago. Is really forbidden?

B) Well I have a hell of work to do in my game they already reach the 20 Kb and they will be more big.

They are fast, and I hope that everyone like my game I really hope that I can finish it before the dead line.

One question Crimson did I have to make a ?game history? for the ?game manual??

:) Well I make the first version of my game about two mouths ago, but because of the contest I make the version 2 of my game, but the version 2 it?s the continuation of the first game ( for example in the first version of the game you kill the soldiers, and in the second version you have to kill the generals and the president ).

I only will publish the second version ( they are very much better than the first ), so I ask that if I have to add the game history, this will increase the "score" for my game?

I think it must been possible to continue the competition if the moderators will also be 'transfered' to the new host.
I'm not participating due to lack of time. I've some sites to maintain and a study to do, so I don't have enough time... Beside that, I'm not very good in Basic-programming. :(

When you say 'fast' on CFX, what excatly do you mean. Surely, you must be suited to the slowest calc of all time. No matter how fast I try to make my games, everyone who tries them says their slow (if Indy 2000 is slow, what are the other Casio games?). I don't know CFX is good for action games but all 3 games I'm making for the comp are action anyway!

Casiokingom, I tried 'Kingdom' and it's a great RPG, nice options, very original! You'll probably laugh at me but it is slightly hard. I get all the best equipment and super high health and EVERY single 'threat' (ah... nice term) kills me in one hit! :( And 1000 for withdrawing is a bit much but it's a great game (so many decimal points, the Fix0 does get annoying when using the calc). Saw some of the games on your site, relating the ASX stockmarket simulation, are you participating in the Australian Stockmarket Game? And about your Speed game, I made a slightly harder one, 2 and 3 digit numbers instead of 1 and 2 (High school maths?).

BTW How did you get no pop-ups on you site and what was your former host?

You should play Empire, Genesis. i find it harder than Kingdom. it's nice to hear a person who enjoys my games. You must release your version of Speed. i will give it to my class mates to see what they think. And about that fix0 display i used, well i used another method in Empire.

And yes, i am in the ASX school sharemarket game. Look for "2 X TAN" under state rankings. i am currently ranked 90th in the state. You Rossmoyne geeks are too good for me. Tell me what your syndicate is named.

BTW: i do get popups on my site, because of my geocities server.
