@kingdom

This game could also run on CFX (if you have enough free memory). The basic technologie is nearly the same despite that you can't use colors
and some new math. functions.

k.......but i think it will take up too much mem. I'll love to play it though, yet wouldn't the graphics be crap on the CFX

they would be exactly the same!

There is NO difference in Basic language in this aspect. Maybe it is somewhat slower because of the color layers
but i don't know if the game is this fluently animated that you can notice it.

You really must know before buying an AFX that you can't do anything you can not do on an CFX (except that you can do it larger :) ).
The AFX only pros are the Algebra System and that it is capable of asm/c for normal people (*looks at martin*)

yeah, and actually this game would look even cooler in 4 colors as opposed to 2

I'd speculate that a 32k version could be done, you would need to strip out quite a bit but I think it possible.

BTW: this is exactly the kind of program we were trying to get out of this competition :D

you know, I wasn't that impressed with the first one sent to me, there was no skill to it and you could just hold down shift and win every fight (later a friend found out the hitting down would win the game instantly sometimes  ), you couldn't block, the AI was pretty weak, and genrally it was all flash and no substance. I suggested that he do more work on it and increase the skill required to play the game instead of just button holding ability :D , now its got blocking, difficulty settings, a boss, and the AI seems harder... no special moves still, but mabey in Gang Fight 3? I've submitted Duellist, it's twice as fast and has special moves (and 100 times worse graphics :D) if your allowed multiple entries. And if you're not, think of both as two "MegaGames". Oops I've said too much... (note: in the ~PLAY program, the -Disp- symbol at the end is supposed to be Do:LpWhile Getkey=/=78).

You got to submit MiniGames, technically thats many games! Only joking :P, Sprite is better but Duellist is so damn fast (Play Sprite for a little while and then Duellist and the difference is extraordinary). If you don't count Duellist I don't mind.

Although Sprite is slow, the concept is great and original. Many at my school are playing it currently.

BTW: i will play duellist soon, probably after exams.

It?s nice to see that everyone likes my game.....

And for the question, yes there is a CFX version, but it?s very very limited, the CFX has only 6 pictures memory, that?s the problem?.

About new movements, I don?t have enough free pictures memory for that, I have to made new menus to free some memory, but I will do it only in the GF3, now I don?t have enough time for that?.

Yes this was done in BASIC very much people was impress?.

:D When we will see the results B)

[C/ASM section]
Sorry, but I will not participate to that competion, because I hate giving my code! :motz:
I don 't want to be humiliated just because my code is very badly-organized and because comment are in french(do not forget that 2072 is judge).
I think it 's a little dumb giving code whereas it 's the game that is juged.

So remove me from the ASM/C list!

So i support Casiomax, Superna and Mastermage for this competition, and good luck for all competitors!

were not grading you on your code, its probably just going to be used as a reference, and I guess we could use it to check and see if someone cheated (if it was obviously written by more than one person). nobody is going to see the code except the judges, and I can promise that nobody is going to make fun of it.

:o What is the problem????

Only because your ?source code organization? is different don?t mean that you have to leave the competition?.

The code of my game it?s not easy to read too ( ask to Crinsom ) I send to him a PDF file whit the ?normal source code? for he can read it?. :D

:D You are a good programmer; it?s very bad if you leave the contest?. :(

I have time for making my another game, but the other game does'nt have any chance to be in a good rank, and I don't have time for find a new game concept. Sorry.
