I have just got a Casio FX-9750GII and was disappointed (like many) to find that there is no natural display option so wanted to flash a FX-9860 image.
Firstly am I correct in believing that an OS Version 02.04.0701 means I have the GII-2 model and should be flashing the SH4 image.
Secondly I tried to "Backup flash" in fxRemote 2.0.21 and get "Error 04: Overwrite impossible/requested file does not exist. Backup is supported by Link/receive-mode only!" I am pretty sure that my drivers are working as I can copy programs to the calculator so does anybody have any idea what I could do to remedy this? (I could just flash the new image but I would like to make a backup before hand)
Here is the output from fxRemote:
00:00:00.002:FStart in 00:00:00.103:start... 00:00:00.103:...waiting for answer! 00:00:00.105:...waiting for answer! 00:00:00.105:...successful! 00:00:00.106:FStart out 00:00:00.106:...waiting for answer! 00:00:00.133:...waiting for answer! 00:00:00.133:...waiting for answer! 00:00:00.133:...waiting for answer! 00:00:00.133:...successful! 00:00:00.134:File opened: D:\User Files\Downloads\Calculator Stuff\fx-9750GII_tools_distro\fxRemote\cxz-fxRemote.fls.RAM 00:00:00.135:Flash transfer request... 00:00:00.135:...waiting for answer! 00:00:00.159:...waiting for answer! 00:00:00.160:...failed!
(Also I am completely new to the world of graphing calculators so please explain the specifics of things if possible, thanks (: )
